What is the elusive thing called "Love" that everyone so desperately needs?
Sometimes, we sort of like this girl because she is beautiful? Or the girl likes
him because he is handsome? But this kind of "Cinderella Syndrome" when the girl is
waiting on her Prince Charming is not real love. It is better known as "Infatuation",
and there is a vast difference between it and real love. Enumerated here below are the
differences. Find out if you are really in love and not just infatuated.

Love or Infatuation

love

People of all ages get mixed up between love and infatuation.
It's hard to tell which one you are feeling when caught up in the excitement!

There is no denying that first impressions last when a man or a woman sees a physically
attractive person and becomes interested with her or him. However, to most people,
it’s the personality that counts when it comes to falling in love
with someone.
Love starts with the interaction and relation of two people and bonded by time.

Even if a man’s partner is aesthetically challenged, his better half will always be
beautiful to his eyes because he’s in love with her.

What is the difference between love and infatuation?

"
Infatuation is instant desire. It is one set of glands calling to another."

"
Infatuation is marked by a feeling of insecurity. You are excited and eager, but not
genuinely happy. There are nagging doubts, unanswered questions, little bits and
places about your beloved that you would just as soon not examine too closely.
It might spoil the dream."

"
Infatuation has an element of sexual excitement. If you are honest, you can admit it is
difficult to be in one another's company unless you are sure it will end-- in intimacy."

"
Infatuation lacks confidence. When he/she is away you wonder if he/she is cheating. Sometimes you check."

"
Infatuation might lead you to do things you will regret later, but love never will."

Love never claims, it ever gives. Love ever suffers, never resents never revenges itself.”
--Mahatma Ghandi

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
--Corinthians

Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.”
--Robert A. Heinlein

"
Love is quiet understanding and the mature acceptance of imperfection. It is real.
It gives you strength and grows beyond you to bolster your beloved.
You are warmed by his/her presence even when he/she is away.
Miles do not separate you. You want him/her nearer, but near or far,
you know he/she is yours and you can wait."

"
Love means trust. You are calm, secure and unthreatened. Your beloved feels
that also and makes them even more trustworthy."

..Love is not about attraction,,
Not about infatuation,,
Not about lust,,
Not about gifts and the length of time you spent together.. Bottom line?
There's no reason at all. True love is having to wake up each day feeling so deeply in love
and overwhelmingly happy whenever this person is around you without even knowing why.
Making you forget the PAST, cherish the PRESENT and wishing that the future would
be spending the entirety of your lives together.

Love will always be a part of our lives. It is the emotion that God has given us to
use for him and to other people.
